the 97 donor car didn't work out, but I got a smashed 2001 jetta tdi instead. I read somewhere about using a mk3 fuel tank, does it have to be tdi? and I plan on using the tdi trans, what is my best options for axles(the cable shift is already there). if a swap to 100 mm mk3 axles, do I need the knuckles too? looking to gather parts and need to know what I need. hoping to get my gtd done by june and then this one by the end of the summer.
