He's a beast.. Word has it his heads are the quietest out there. Mine needed to have two lifter bores machined a couple valves replaced and a whole new lifter set and cam. The cam was $300 for the stage 2.

He does ok work from what I have seen, but I believe the machinist I use does better, cheaper, and closer. I think that he is WAY overpriced for what he does. I have about the same in my oversize valve head as you do your back to stock head for example.

$3K in parts without trying in my professional opinion.
$4K ain't bad for the package if someone can transport it economically.
Be patient and consider making it run.

Many things we do naturally become difficult only when we try to make them intellectual subjects. It is possible to know so much about a subject that you become ignorant.

Thanks! I can make it run with a $20 fitting for the return line, and a woodruff key for the pump. If it were a deal breaker I would but I have no time.. Speaking of new parts... the trucks front end has over $1k in it alone.. coils, extenders, strut caps (raised), new rack, inner/outer tie rods, redline bearings and new hubs, rotors, SS brake lines..

My thing is I can finish it and make it run/drive.. but not the way I would like to.. I want to do it the right way, and I dont have the time or the money.. Apparently I'm not suited for complete builds.. being I'm too anal for my wallet. I want it to be perfect and I just cant afford it right now..

If it comes down to it.. I'll keep it, store it in a unit somewhere for a few years, and come back to it with a few thousand to spend. But I hate it sitting there getting weathered. And storage fees are $$. So.. I sell it. I dont have a garage to keep it in or it would be that easy.

I have a love for jet skis that out weighs my truck, and I just dumped a bunch of money into my stand up. Doing a 750 motor swap from the 550, and plan on having it done for the warm weather.
