F.S (UK) Inline 5 TDi & M-pump
« on: December 15, 2013, 06:22:21 pm »
Unfortunately my project has taken on a more petrol engine'd vibe, so my Volvo/Audi R5 TDi engine is up for sale

Paid £250 for it, 75k motor apparently.

If anyone's interested I can get more photos etc
Happy to stick it on a pallet or whatever.

Oh and also have a LR 300TDi pump that was going to go onto this, again untested but sold to me as working
£150, can look into postage quotes to the US...

Not really, anymore. I think you can get a Camaro, Corvette, Challenger or Mustang. All those are going to be available in the UK, if they aren't already (albeit at a high cost). Look http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/this-is-the-new-ford-mustang-2013-12-05

There aren't many V8 cars sold here anymore, unless you want to drive a full size pickup truck. Americans have embraced downsizing with a fervor. And the older Muscle cars have escaped the realm of affordability to the average person. They aren't the cheap thrill they used to be, probably because you guys are buying them up and dragging them across the ocean, lol.

PM's, emails replied.
Pallet would be approx £1k ($1600) although this is just a rough estimate
If going to all the hassle to import the R5, I also have a 1Z (which came with the longitudinal gearbox) and also block, head and some other bits off an AHU if anyone would be interested in taking the lot?
would sell the 4 cyl stuff for £250 (mostly complete engine, second block/crank/rods/pistons head with cams/valves etc)
Gearbox as pictured, audi longitudinal £100

will get some photos later

the 1Z

(no turbo though, or fuel pump bracket, or pump)

That said i won't have any use for the GT2052v anymore either. no actuator £100

(crap job on the adapter, but fairly straight-foreward to make)

Think that's it for my diesel clearout!
