A guy I'm helping with a eurovan ahu build bought a new k03/k04 hybrid. He is gonna have a properly ported head, bigger nozzles(unsure of size ATM), Rocketchip stage 3 tune, .5mm over asv pistons, some sort of front mount, pd150 intake. I really think he is going to have egt problems on this thing. Tons of intake and no exhaust flow. Keep in mind this is a Weekender not a regular eurovan. Libby, Jockey and Lucas I'm looking at you guys. I told him a k14 or t2 would be better. He said maybe a vnt17 might be an option for him at a later date. I really think he needs to decide now before the motor is in.

sadly it doesn't say what it is for A/R, wheel size, trim or a map. I was looking to see what it actually was capable of. I would say he is in need of a bigger turbo for a rocketship stage 3, but I am not searching for a map to know for sure. Also I couldn't find a chart to say what for HP stage 3 will be making, so if he is only around 140hp it maybe fine.

I agree with Lucas on this one, I think he is under-turboed for a stage 3 tune.  If he was getting only a stage 1.5-2 I might be a little more at ease, but 3 is a lot of fuel for even a K03/K04.  A VNT 17 or  even 17/22 sounds better for this application since it has more exhaust flow.  I'd also ask about how big his front mount is, because something as massive as a eurobox is a lot of weight to thor around especially at low speeds where airflow across the IC might not be ideal.  Has he considered air-to-water?

ko3 from an ahu hot unsure of cold. He has decided on a vnt 17 or an s7.

VNT 17 is most likely the best candidate; still have the option for the 22 cold side if in the future he decides to go bigger, since 17/22 does more boost than an s7.  If he wants to just do one turbo, though, the s7 might be a good one to choose since it spins up like 17 but handles a little more boost than a stock 17. Might go with the stage 3 tune, but IDK since I don't know the nozzle size.
