• I'm looking for the parts needed to delete the ac compressor from my mk1 diesel rabbit. The car doesn't have power steering.  Not sure what all I need since everywhere I look people give different info.

• There is a good non-AC conversion post in the FAQs.
   It's about converting to the 90 amp MK2 setup.

• I think I have a good non ac bracket on a 1.5 still. I usually sell them for around 100 plus shipping. let me know if you are interested.
