• Is the T2 smaller than the T3 ?
  I have been looking for a smaller turbo(to spool quicker) for my Fox wagon
  which has an 85 quantum 1.6TD with a T3

• Yes it is smaller and spools faster although it is slow for it's size anyway... K03 or GT1544 from 1Z or AHU TDI engines are newer turbos that spool faster and can be had with bolt on manifolds.

  Wierd, I coulda swore theman posted "air" in his mesage and now it says "oil" thus making my subsequent post sound redundant.

  A mod can do a lot more than you think, including deleting your posts if he doesn't like it.
