I want whatever the stock size is and no one seems to list the auto replacements. You even said do not put anything different in.

The nozzles do not determine flow guy..

The pump is still going to send either bigger or stock nozzles the same fuel without a tune.

How don't they? Bigger holes more fuel less return flow.

How don't they? Bigger holes more fuel capacity, creating a potential for  less return flow.
^fixed that
It's a positive displacement pump.

I wouldn't recommend putting in bigger nozzles unless you plan on getting tuned or enjoy rolling lots of coal.  I have DLC 1019's in my auto ALH jetta.  The power is excellent but there is far more smoke than I want.  The IQ could not be set high enough to dial it in either.

I want no extra power. I want this gearbox to last as long as possible. This is a daily driver for her to get to work and to drive when we go on trips for her job. Like I said Stock nozzles where they at? I also am not a big fan of rolling coal except when someone cuts me off i like to blip the throttle and give a little cloud to show my disapproval of their poor driving.

I got a set of 442 (manual trans) injectors from Franks TDIs the car ran better in every respect, and only  makes the slightest  puff of haze for an instant if you romp on it.
The auto has been fine for 4 years since.

So my ALH is originally from an auto Jetta, and I'm planning on mating a 12mm head from my spare 4BT to a Land Rover pump body.  Which size nozzles should I run?  I'm worried that the auto nozzles are too small.

More important question would be "what are your power goals and what other mods do you have?".  Nozzle size is directly related to how much air you have to use the fuel you're injecting.

Agreed.  The turbo is a rather smallish KKK unit (not a T3) originally installed on a Mercedes 3.0L diesel.
