It's not the straightest car but it's from the South and it's rust free. The odometer count reads 800+ thousand miles but it wasn't counting correctly so I have no idea of the real mileage. Interior is black cloth.
Ran when I got it from a friend in trade for some work I did for him. I had intended to fix it up and make it my daily driver when a TDI jetta landed in my driveway. This TD had low compression- pulled head to find it probably needs a bottom end. It supposedly has a recent turbo and the injection pump shows evidence of having been either replaced or resealed not too long ago, probably after the ULSD switch. The head and all the related parts are boxed up in the trunk. We put a clutch in it before I hauled it up from Tennessee (and figured out that the bottom end wasn't in great shape).
If someone wants a driver and has an engine laying around this is a decent buy. Also, if you're looking for a donor for a transmission or turbo or injection pump it's a great find.
Make me an offer (over $250, the pump alone is worth more!) and haul it away! Need it gone by October 17th. If it doesn't go away, sadly, I'll have to scrap it out.
