FS or WTB 1992 ECOdiesel Jetta
« on: August 18, 2013, 05:25:41 pm »
Hi, I'm new to the forum and to VW but I have been wrenching for 45 years or more.
I just lost the timing belt (Came off) on a rebuilt engine. I tore it down and only one valve is hanging with the cam removed. All the pistons stand proud. The car is pretty clean for a 1992. The brakes are great, tires are good, and was running sweet when the belt came off at an idle.  I would either like to buy a head ready to drop on (used is fine) or sell the whole project to someone else. Car is located 1 mile from VT and 1 mile from MA in winchester, NH $1200
Regards, Fickle Farmer

I have a head removed from an eco diesel - 190k - car was wrecked pulled it off but never heard it run.

Been saving it for my eco diesel - and you know just how life would happen - is that if I sell it to you, then mine will break once FedEx picks it up from me....   so I am kinda seriously scared to part with it...
