what have you learned of 100mm jpints on 90mm crap?
1) 100mm joints no fit 90mm axles.. too thick..
2.) mk3/mk2 no fit mk1..
solutions are?
1.) 16v rocco axles and mod the spindle/hub area to fit 100mm jopints..
2.) 90mm spring loaded cups put on the tranny that has 100mm cups on it.
i cannot beleive you told that guy that... been thru this with you r02a crap.. and you give a reply like that...

HE say:
I installed a mk3 1.9td with 020 tranny in my 82 rabbit. I need 100mm flanges. I have the mk3 axles and cvs, and my mk1 axles.
Will the inner part of cv, that c clips onto the splined end of axle, interchange between mk3 and mk1? rather, whole inner cv joint from mk3 installed on my mk1 axle.?
thanks for help.
J
I say:
Is the tranny originally 90mm right now?
You are wanting to upgrade to a 100mm inner, and leave the outer 90mm?
Is this a hack'n'stab install,
or better what is the desired outcome here?

npo its 100mm by the post.. LOL.. again your reply sucked.. LOL.. you have the info to tell him.. from what he said...
100mm cups on the 020.. he looking fo rway to get his 90mm axles to fit..
cannot..
90mm cups from later then his 82 tranny would be best and easy solution.. else rocco axle.. as 100mm joints are too thick for a 90mm axle..

I say stay 90mm anyways.. no reasons to really go 100mm.
