Vacuum pump o-ring?
«
on:

I need either the size or preferably P/N for the o-ring that is under the lid? Or possibly if there is another o-ring that is the same one? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Camshaft, Crankshaft and IM shaft oil seal are all the same seal. The intermediate shaft seal carrier o-ring should be green and is usually very thin."
Is this correct?

The intermediate shaft seal carrier o-ring may be the thing I am looking for. But those oil seals are not even close.

Right the green o ring that is under the IM shaft seal carrier *seal carrier o ring as stated before* is what I used in one of my vane pumps. VW dealers have the real o ring and the IM shaft seal carrier. I used the IM one as I had 3 laying around for my build and when I took the one out and held it up to the new green IM one it looked the same. I don't know if it is or not but it worked for me. Your results may vary.

IM shaft seal carrier o-ring is a bit large in diameter. I've gotten viton ones from 'the o-ring store' online. Part number v2.00x055 fit perfectly.

Sure, if you want to get the o-ring that is too large instead of the one that is a perfect fit that I posted above...

Resolved the issue hopefully. I bought the factory o-ring from the dealer. I will pick it up on Wednesday and let everyone know how well it worked.

First o-ring was to big. 2nd is correct. But does anyone have the torque spec for the lid? I really need that to get my brakes back.

I guess I will snug them down and get a measurement off of one and use that for all 3.
