I have come to the conclusion that the coilovers on my new golf will not be my best bet for winter driving. Im Looking for options as to what suspension set up would be the longest lasting but have close to factory MK2 GTI results. I am looking for something that has almost stock height
Bilstein HD's with H&R all around. I have them on my 1990 4dr 1.8L and it is on RAILS!
What coilovers do you have? How adjustable are they and have you played with the adjustments much?

This.
Or koni yellows with stock springs/sport springs.
I had that setup on my jetta and it did great in the winter.
Neuspeed sport springs , not sofsports, and I cheaped out on sachs/boge struts but they do ride nice. I did the Jom spring caps too , but don't bother. It's so low cause of the tires.
