Turn the star wheel down more, cut the pin more, and turn up the fuel till its just about at runaway. If that still doesnt do it, you are in need of a "built" pump, such as a giles pump, but since your in Norway, there must be somebody closer to build you a pump.

Im going to try to cut the LDA pin so the metring pin can travel as far as possible and turn the starwheel down som more......but when Im turning up the fuel, the engine wont "comress" after I have rev it.

It`s on the outside, on the back of the pump above the four outlets to the injectors. 6mm screw with a 13mm jamnut inside a cap, you can`t miss it!

Now I have made a deeper cut in the LDA pin and turned down the starwheel and turned up fuel a bit more.....better but not good!

I have to wait and see what happen when Im changing the filter, it maybe clogged.

Have ordered GTD nozzles from TDtuning....I hope them help some too.

Maybe I have to go for a bigger pump head?

Have you backed your idle control screw right out and adjusted the cable for the increased throw?

If not this will alow for more fuel yet before runaway

Also have you shaved the washer that goes around the pin for full upward travel?

Cut the pin till its maxed.

Once you have done all of this... You are into getting a pump built teritory :D

EDIT: I just read that it is for an AAZ, goto the FAQ and look at Smog's make your car faster and do all of the aaz tricks in there as well.

You should with only 15psi be BLACK as a starless night, with smoke. unless its like an HX40 @ 15psi

Yes, if it is a TD there is sense in turning up fuel.....turn the screw in for more fuel.

Well now I am confused. With those mods on my 1.6TD I couldn't clear up the smoke till 24psi +/- 2psi, and the 1.9 pump has a bigger camplate! Once I went to GTD injector's I couldn't clear up the smoke until like 28psi. This was with the bigger k24 turbo as well.

Either there is somthing more that you haven't mentioned or your pump is wacked!

What are your egt's like at WOT and 15psi, what do they settle at? even at 30psi with my gtd's I couldnt get my egt's under 1500 F at WOT, never really got a sustanied egt reading either as they would just keep climbing, Too much fuel not enough air, and dynamic timing.

I have pushed lots of these pumps to the edge and they have all produced more fuel then the stock turbo can digest.   :?

Yes Im confused too.....it`s a high milage engine so maybe the pump is wacked.....
I have some air bubbles in the inlet fuelline from the filter when Im reving the engine, some say it maybe clogged.....Im going to change this tomorrow and see what happens.
My egt gauge is`nt working anymore   (from a diesel boat) so I have to buy a new one ....Autometer??

Maybe it's just that I am more conservative in how my car runs, but I find the smoke isn't too hard to clear up. My idle advance is only a couple of clicks out and the fuel is set where it ran best at idle. Although initially when I put the 10mm pump on it was dark out and the power was insane. However, headlights would disappear behind me and I ended up taking some fuel out of it. Presently the fuel clears up around 20 psi and boost pressure settles around 25 psi. I should really try turning it up a little bit. I also need to get on making those custom LDA pins. I think that would help the smoke issue and improve power a bit as my car smokes coming onto boost but then clears up. Obviously it would stop if I rotated the LDA pin back toward the conservative side.
