FS: 1995 Jetta AAZ TD
« on: June 19, 2013, 02:39:16 pm »
Bought this for the motor but plans have changed.

The turbo on the motor is on it's last legs but it comes with a replacement K03 with Manifold.
Has HID lights and some giant muffler, body is in ok shape for a MK3, some dents, bit of rust and the paint is crap.

Was told the clutch was just replaced.

227000 kms and the odometer still says Total.

$1100.

And maybe even get a free ride in a Police car...and a stay at a great Bed and Breakfast..

Switching the VINS is problematic at best... I'm sure the frame is stamped..door...dash...

But AAZ's were not sold here..so if you sold it in a smog area it would fall flat on its face (not a tdi) and the VIN would, at the least, need to be a TDI vin...

Even if its a non smog area (where are those?) would the risk be worth a few grand?  I think not...

I get your point though..and I'm sure he's wise enough to steer clear of potential jail time...

I'd buy it for the motor alone...but getting it here would be problematic.  If you were willing to meet stateside with it, I'm sure someone would buy it!
