Got the headlights working - just as you guys said, I had to repin the low/high beam. - Thanks

As for grounding the 4 wires at the back of head - for temp gauge etc.  -  a no go.

I grounded each of the four wires one at a time, ( with key on) and nothing happened   either gauge\light-wise-at the instrument panel.

So I guess I have to start my way backwards - wiring, all the way back to the instrument panel.

well just ground them and goto town with the other connections.. at least you play w/one.. turn on key.. see what im sayin.. better then getting uo/down to test..

These things... are the cheapest but still quality. Get the harness and the lights all at the same time and you wont be sorry. Making a harness.... is bull***. You can't drive to the store, buy wire and relays for less than $30. Buy the housings. The ebay seller I linked too sells a quality product. They aren't HELLA...But wtf does anyone need hella for? His are all glass/metal construction. They are solid. I have some in my golf. Plus... free bulbs....

2 relays... and rear wiring harness from  pre ce2 to build it from.. i reuse harnesses from cars i strip so i got multi colored wires...
