SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD Thanks for looking!

I bought my 2001 Jetta TDI at 162k in Fall 2011. Always changed oil with Pentosin, timing belt done at 180k, auto trans just died on me a couple weeks ago at 191k. Car looks good and drove well, take on the transmission swap project and you have a nice runner to enjoy. I'm pretty sure I am the second owner, car never smoked in, complete owner's manual still in glovebox. Comes with switchblade key and valet key as well. Thanks.

TDI manuals are harder to find "cheap" more and more autos are dieing. Rebuild autos last maybe 50,000 and cost $1800up. I have bought several TDI autos did the manual swap. Even that is going up in costs.

There is a guy on the TDI club selling an entire kit to swap it to manual. Mine was an auto that died and is now manual. From what I gather it is pretty simple, just about 2,000 in that bucket of parts.

Thanks Jimmy! Hope you're doing well. Now, who wants to buy this Jetta and finish the trans swap?

You got me tempted. If someone can do the AT to MT swap, I might be VERY interested......

Drop me some names of shops. I'll take a day trip up. Not too far from Long Island.

If it was closer I would buy it. Or if it was that price delivered, I would buy it. I just can't do it as it sits.
