FS Parting a 97 and 99 Jetta TDI
« on: June 11, 2013, 06:56:10 pm »
The 97 ran well. The pump, head, injectors and turbo are sold. Everything else is available.

I'm hoping to get at the 99 tomorrow and see what it needs. The head is pending.

Changed the starter on the 99 and it fired right up. Couple if codes but nothing serious. I don't have the list with me but I'll post it as soon as I can.

If you're pulling the engine to bits I'd be interested in a set of TDI rods.

The 97 needs to be bored, cylinder #4 is really scuffed. All the others still have their cross hatching :(

The 99 block is gone.
