Oil Squirter Torque Spec?
« on: May 20, 2013, 07:18:56 am »
I've used the search function here, and checked my Bentley manual, but still can't find a torque spec for the oil squirter nozzles in a factory 1.6 TD block?

The Bentley manual shows the 2 different oiling paths (non-TD, and TD), but I simply can't find a torque value for the bolts.

I could make them "goodandtite", but would feel better with an approved torque spec.

Help would be appreciated.

Steve.

i think when i was curious about this i checked out the specs for an obd1 aba.  i believe most 16v's had oil squirters too as well as 1.8ts.
