http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Fuel-Injector-Nozzle-0-434-250-138-0434250138-DN0SD273-MOQ-6-PCS/507090947.htmlDude on the D24 board actually ordered and received these and they are in fact either French made Bosch or a really, really good
copy. Pyder Power seems to be a legitimate diesel stuff making outfit in China, no idea why they'd be selling cheap French Bosch stuff
but business does weird stuff sometimes.
For $50 I think I might order some and see since I can pop test them myself now, anyone else feeling adventurous?
These are DNOSD273's which corresponds to 86-ish and later NA and all turbo's including the JR code GTD fwiw, though I'm reasonably sure they will work in
anything they will fit into. (but they are different than the DNOSD293's for the early 1.6's)

It's definitely interesting, if they are genuine French.
Shipping really queers it on a small scale, but I am sure there would be beaucoup interest for a group buy if the goods are good.

$4.13 each!
Bloody Hell! Small wonder that the western world is out of the metal bashing buisness.

When you remove the Bosch corporate tax from the Indian ones (which are $12 in the US) you probably get close to that.

That makes a lot of sense, the tax.
Thing about Chinese parts, which these aren't it seems but I'd be interested in trying some, is that they are perfectly capable of good work and materials. Just they don't use them often, cost. I know a guy that has red dot sights and scopes made there, to his specs, and they can be as nice or as ***ty as one requests.

An American that sees clearly? Surely I must have misread

. Not EVERYTHING made in China is crap, just most.. because they can do a similar job for much much much less money.. including shipping it across the world.

The difference between a Sony and an Orion TV are just the quality of the parts. They are all made in the same places just to different specs. You can find really good stuff in China, but just the Made in the US you can also find a lot of crap. The test is in the company doing the design and not the manufacture. Apple makes all it stuff in China for a good reason, total control and access to EVERYTHING is needs and their stuff turns out pretty good.
$4 feels pretty crazy, though. I guess an injector isnt more more than a few springs, a machine orifice or two and some housings. With good specs to build from and quality machining standards there isnt too much to mess up.

Have you guys missed the $30 shipping?
Apple makes iPhones in china because it is the only place with hi tech slave labor. All iPhones are assembled BY HAND by 12 year old chinese girls that sleep in 3 meter square room that is nothing but bunks. They are "hot bunked" as well.

The idea is to buy enough of them to offset the shipping cost.
If I ever get around to it I'll buy two sets, if they are alright I'll buy
a half dozen more.
