I think I'd be a lot happier  with mine if it went past the back of the cab,  fumes come up the seat bolt hoes, and it's ass.
I'll get a temp something on there, and build a 4" system after I catch up  on  repair stuff.

yea, that would be much better..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

Well my section of Landrover Exhaust arrived yesterday, pipe work is 2.25-2.5" so I'm happy :) I need to now find another mid box from a landrover, lot of the big luxury Range Rovers are quiet and powerful, so I may look for an exhaust off one of those.

But today while testing the end silencer the one thing I noticed is the amount of induction noise my van makes! so half my battle could be the noise going in rather than the noise coming out.

In the end I think my exhaust length will be around 4-5ft (with a few bends) from turbo to the first large mid silencer(14-18" long), then about 4-6" from the mid to end silencer(12" long) then a tail pipe. which means if it was in a straight line on a normal car it would probably be from the engine to the start of the rear axle, but its just more compact and made up of turns! The whole system will be 2.25"+ so should breath ok :)

there is no such thing as too big of an exhaust on a Turbo car tho...

I know you probably know that but for the sake of those searching later...
