I built this car 3 years ago by combining a 1993 AAZ B3 with a 1992 syncro B3. A very complete and detailed swap.
The syncro body and chassis have about 300,000K. The bottom end was rebuilt approx 15,000k ago.
Engine
- 1.9 TD
- Giles IP
- K14
- G60 SMIC
- 2.5" SS straight through exhaust
Driveline
- Complete rebuild when I did the swap
- EGR O2C (mk4 TDI gears)
- new VR6 clutch with previous engine install
- new CV's on prop shaft
- both hanger bearings in good condition
- new seals on rear diff
Suspension/Brakes/Steering
- All fresh parts when I built the car (struts, pads, rotors, arms, bushings, bearings, ect)
- ABS swap from 97 VR6 Passat
- mk4 rear calipers
- VR6 sway bar
- ZF rack
- R32 control arm bushings
- new tires
Interior/Exterior
- Everything electrical works as it should
- A/C blows nice and cold
- Glass moon roof
- E-codes with Eurowires kit
- Auber digital boost and EGT gauges
- OEM keyless entry
The body is pretty good for a car with 300,000K. Nice and straight with couple of minor rust spots.
I've daily driven this car since I built it and have loved it, but I have a TDI syncro coming out of the shop soon and I cant keep both.
$5000 obo
Located in Victoria BC
Does not come with DE's, grill, and BBS wheels as shown. Comes with E-codes, stock grill and syncro wheels.

Yummy. Did the crank nose get any attention or still keyed?

It looks like he has a clutched alt pulley which I as far as I can tell removes the need for that?

Sweet ride... If that were a wagon I'd seriously consider it, I was looking to get Dr. Diesel's B3 before he left. GLWS!

If someone wanted to buy this car for a swap, I could negotiate a deal with less extra stuff on the car. Gauges, wheels, e-codes, Giles IP, etc.
I'm selling the car as a driving vehicle, not parting-out.
