I'm not a big fan of the filter but I've got some pipes coming in and an itg filter.

Be aware..an Mk1 has about 4" of stock suspension travel. Lowering it however much obviously takes that amount away from the suspension travel, unless you raise the strut towers.
So with that said.. How low are you comfortable with?

Dude If you only knew. I used to have an 03 black with black leather interior Jetta GLS TDi and I absolutely loved but I got in a wreck. From that point I've been looking for a turbo diesel Jetta. It only took 3 years to find the one that said buy me.

It isn't like he said he wanted to slam it with coils. Sport springs barely even lower the car. Race springs will lower it slightly more. But H&R's paired with the right struts will lead to much better handling.

yeah I want to make my version of GTD jetta, good but comfortable handling with decent power, mk2 blue gti/gli recaros, and great brakes. I just wanted to see how 1" lowering looked

This is about a 1.5" drop.. Raceland springs and Monroe shocks/struts. Rides great unloaded, or mildely loaded. 4 people and my trunk full, max's the rears out bad on rough stuff.
