LDA leak
« on: February 13, 2013, 05:08:10 pm »
Hey guys, been reading this forum for a few months now and the information contained here has proven to be invaluable. Many thanks.

Ive had a leaking pump for a while now, narrowed it down to a leaking o-ring deep down inside the LDA. However, this being my first diesel pump fix, I am a bit hesitant to take it apart with nothing to refer to. I understand the top of the pump can be removed in-car, but thats about it. And most useful looking link I can find is dead..

http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?topic=19895.0 -- thats the link in the FAQ

Would anyone have this thread saved or could point me in the direction of another helpful one? Countless searches on here and google come up short.

Thanks, Evan.

I saved that post along with pictures back in 2010 just in case I ever needed it. I brought it back from the dead for you http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?topic=32938

Hope it helps.
