Not sure what engine this came from originally, looks like it has a fitting for a wastegate or egt. Make an offer

Looks to be in mk1 format with that down pipe. Could be the angle of the picture, but it looks to go down a fair ways before aiming back.
For reference that manifold will bolt up to any of the VW four cylinders with eight valves.
Yeah 99% sure came off a mk1, the extra fittings made me think it was once a turbo manifold
Not with that down pipe, A turbo manifold is a single outlet, where the turbo would bolt on.
It was a gas engine manifold, the extra ports were for Oxygen sensors. It is probably a GTI 1.8 manifold
I think some of the Scra-roccos were like this if not the GTI you mention....
its a pre 83(gasser) or pre 81 (diesel) duel manifold for a mk1 with tt non flex downpipe to crack/break studs..
81 diesels started clips.. 83 gassers start clips.. 83 gasser trucks used diesel clip duel manifold (81-84 diesels used) with a odd ball 6mo of use/production down pipe that is duel.. in europe this was used.. but the down pipe was longer with no provision for a cat like the 6mo verson did..
6mo... 83 trucks were 1/2 year with no 84 supposedly (in usa).. and since lacked bung for o2 sensor was not used on any other vws.. trucks were egr vs o2 equipped.. why its odd ball out.. but flows better them late mk3/mk4 tubler manifolds.. one day ill duplicate that downpipe..
Thanks guys, got this with a truckload of mk1 parts so not totally clear on everything.
