got this on a trade worth using?
I've never seen one or heard of problems but it doesn't look like a good setup from an exhaust leak standpoint.
The probe is supposed to have at least 2/3rds of its length in the exhaust flow according to the instructions that I got with a similar looking probe, I'm not sure why, it could be for fast response or for a more accurate reading. If you do use it then think about mounting the probe on the outside of a bend rather than a low-flow area
Planes use em like that, and if your hole is anywhere near tight, it will soot itself sealed in no time.
My isspro is like that. It came with a lead looking soft collar that goes between the pipe and the hose clamp around the probe to seal. Works well in the cast downpipe elbow.
That thing looks pretty thick. The tests done on the thick ones is they react very slow. Also, we have been over this here a million times, but the place to put it is preturbo. I think it might be hard to get that in the exhaust manifold preturbo.
yea we went to summit and got screw in kind... picked up a front seal carrier as after removing crank bolt found fun suprise.. he got pics.. but pln to have the m sittin in his b3 by time he takes off tomarro wnight...
