It will but the crank sensor I feel will be more consitent and give a better reading. I really dont know though.
Might even be able to wire it up to the 3rd injector with the wiring on it.. Are you using an ALH? Do they even have this? AHU's do lol.

Nah using 1z. I bet it would work would just have to know its pulse count per injection maybe?
The 1Z should have it too, as electrically I think it was the same as the AHU.
Well it would measure #3's injection which only happens once per 2 crank revolutions right?
I dunnooo, either that or the crank should work well. I think the W on a serp belt would be accurate. No slippage on a serp belt.
would be 1/4 rpm... aka fires 1time on 4 revolutions... picks up when fires.. all the tdi have 3 sensor till pd..
