Going to get some bigger nozzles for the mtdi once I get it operational
Any brand I should avoid? Going to go to . 216 or . 230 howmuch will I gain with each size? Willbigger nozzles hurt economy or only if I'm heavy on the foot still?
Ahh, the DI nozzle is marvelous.
It allows more fuel to be injected, sooner and faster. Thus, more efficiently. You'll probably see a gain in mpg. I have heard great things about Veg Injection. I currently have a set of .216's awaiting installation on my desk
.
Can't beat the price either.
google give link to purchase veg nozzles. just discussions. Where to buy?
I have the guys contact info somewhere.... lemme have a look see.
I got some from Frank06 that seem to work great. Power/MPG gain was a bit hard to define, as VWOA had previously rebuilt the motor with the wrong head gasket, but the car ran a lot better when I was done with it. 216 IIRC

$100 when I purchased in July of 2012.
I'd second the above. Installed a set of veg .205 nozzles in my 98 Jetta AHU ( which basically bring the engine up to euro. horsepower) and it pulls like a freight train.
Was the best $100 I spent
I've bought several sets of the smog .216 nozzles and I do like them. Very good value for your dollar. If you want higher quality nozzles I would run the bosio power plus nozzles. I recently installed the pp520 from bosio in the wifes car and they are amazing. Very smooth idle and minimal smoke. They are way more money, i think I paid $240 for the set but they are also great value for the money. They are also rated for ulsd.
I'm running Hflox .240s in my MTDi, can't fault them
set at 210bar, starts on the button, idles lovely and pulls hard
