so my fuel issue with 007 kubvan... as known the ignition switch died... owner thought bad filter.. replace them...
after 5 hrs of wtf... i changed the "no name other then made in iseral" on it and problem solved... sadly owner has no clue to brand or where purchased... how no idea... but if you buy cheap ones... and you have a issue, please.. buy a good one... 5hr of my life of why no suck fuel up front... how to charge for that......
Guy bought a cheap filter, you still had to do work. Charge away lol.
Where are the bosch units made these days? How many miles were on the filter and what does the tank look like?
0 miles... why it important post.... bosh would say bosh on it...
this is a i changed my filter, my car still does not run type of thread... make sure you did not skimp on quality...
Or you could run the cheap filter and have a nifty electric lift pump
Not gonna lie, I rocked a prothe filter until I retired my golf
Or you could run the cheap filter and have a nifty electric lift pump
x2 same here lol

my car doesnt care if the OEM filter is cheap, or bosch, or mann, or whatever..
the filter ahead of it is ALWAYS expensive..
if it gets past the stock 15micron unit, then my 2micron racor eats it up..
there is no such thing as TOO MUCH fuel filtration...
my introduction to prothe was through a fuel filter mk2 style.
hard to believe if i didn't see it but i started by soaking it in a bucket with ports open before install.
it had major restrictions going on. so much so that i special ordered some name brand from kragen and i was off and running.
