Did the chrome window trims come with the car or did you add them to nice it up?  If so what kind of price were they? 

Rain here about 9 mths a year.  Summer rain not really an issue unless you get caught in a thunderstorm on the eastside of the Cascades. 

It is the constant drizzle that makes me think these would do me good to have.  DAS

Mine came with the chrome window trim and chrome on the door handles, appears to be stock. I don't think they provide extra weather protection though? Not that I can tell anyways, my doors still leak just a little, need to fix the weather strips.

they came on it, i don't think i've really changed anything appearance wise on the car other than slightly lowering it and different wheels.  has bilstein sports with h&r springs and jom lowering spring caps, yellow dot pump, and converted gti tach with 120mph speedo.

Hey come get that 98 jetta tdi,and ill throw in my vintage autobahn accesories center console.you remove the base for the stock shifter boot and this goes in its place.it gives you 2 little bins in front of the normal shifter plastic base :)
besides i got a bunch of mk1 crap layin around ill just throw in the trunk :)
yea yea ya got too much junk now i know :(
