I been looking on ebay and relatively cheaply you can get a bosch fuel injector pump seal/gasket kits, problem is how many different types are there likely to be?
I know one kit mentioned a 'VE' pump, but how do I determine what I need and how many pump types do vw use on this early 1.6TDs?
basically I have a 1.6TD pump spare that I'd like to perform an overhall on in the sense of checking wear and looking up the governer mod as I been having issues with my current engine with poor starting and figured maybe I need to get on with rebuilding this pump that bought for this reason.
