Looking for LR quarter panel, A2 Jetta, Quartz Grey Metallic
« on: February 25, 2006, 10:16:59 am »

Dunno if this pic shows it, but there's rust-through.

Therefore, I need another one.

The tricky part is that my car is Quartz Grey Metallic (code LA8V), not some common color like Tornado Red or something.

Anyone got one without rust, and without dents (this one is dented, I suspect that that's why it's rusted, too ;))

I'll have to find out what it'll cost to get it resprayed Quartz Grey Metallic...

Also, what would it cost?

And, I hope you don't mind, but I'm gonna crosspost this to TDIClub and the Vhortex (wish me luck, there - I'll use the "I'll only buy from someone I can easily kick the ass of" technique, though).

Not a problem...make me an offer on it and we can go from there. I don't mind about posting elsewhere. Would be nice to find the same color one but your still going to have to refinish it as well there too. Either way...let me know...
Car is in Warren, PA 16365 so shipping wouldn't be all that bad to you in Ohio...

Colour won't matter,as you can't just bolt it on.You will need to cut the old one out,and weld the new one in.After finish bodywork,it will need to be painted anyways.
