me been looking since june 2011 for a reasonable set... good luck with your search... theman just got a set for his future project... i have them at the moment.. going to borrow for my road trip west for backups.. i tig welded my "bad one" and workes so far.. just no trust in it... 6-7k road trip.. me borrowing set for side of road misshap..

when i get back to ohio ill drop them back off to him.. meeting up with him on way to cali to drop off his collection of parts i have for him.. he went in with a deal for 02a/lines injector stuff.. he plans to build a tdi-m from a aaz block.. he got head, and those parts now.. ome pistons and such.. he will have his parts supply..

Yeah and before that I found a set on the tex but IIRC he wanted 75.00 plus shipping. If I can I will dig it up from my PM's there and see if it is still active.

That is the thread and according to the posts when he quit bumping it, they may still be up for grabs. I just was trying to get them for nothing and seeing how I didn't need them I was OK to let them go. On CRSMP5 situation I would have bought them. I wonder now that he has had them for 6 more months if he would take my old offer of 55.00 shipped...either way I bet he would for sure go 75.00 shipped. Which sadly is less than 1 from the dealer.

In my search I found new complete sets for $28. on a Prothe site. Must be Chinese but may be good for emergency spares.

The ones on Prothe site are not for the 1z/ahu...unless he got them in the last month. He never had them before, not that I would trust them if he did.

They were not there when I looked a month ago. Good luck for those that use them, for that price I may have even thought about them.

I'd be worried about substandard metal erroding from the fuel pulses and messing up the injectors. Even the OEM lines have a hard time holding up.
