Manually control your plugs the easy way for only $60

I've been using this manual glow plug relay in my Ecodiesel for nearly 3 years now with great success, no trouble whatsoever. It allows manual control of the glow plugs via a dedicated switch. When the engine is warm, glow plugs are not necessary to start the engine. This manual glow plug relay allows you to take advantage of that,  prolonging glow plug life and decreasing battery drain. The beauty of this manual glow plug relay is no hacking of the stock glow plug wiring and no additional starter relay is required, saving you a lot of work and the need to hacking up the stock wiring. All you have to do is unplug your glow plug relay and plug my manual glow plug relay in it's place and connect the orange wire to a switch, that's it!

When you flip the manual glow plug switch (ign key must be on), a buzzer sounds and the glow plug LED in the cluster illuminates for as long as the manual glow plug switch is on, indicating actual glow plug on time.

The round black item on top of the relay is the buzzer. The orange wire goes to the manual glow plug switch (SPST) that you provide and mount in the location you choose. I suggest installing the manual glow plug switch  in the blank spot above the head light switch.

$60 delivered, quantities limited. If you send me your glow plug relay, I can modify it and ship it back to you for $40 (shipping included)

I dig it, this combined with the starter relay under the hood to actually get good amperage to the plugs would be cake.

Very clean setup.
