So a friend had told me that he has a weird strange little car that he needs to get rid of. I had asked what was it. He said it look like some kind of military truck. Three lug wheels, 2 cylinder air cooled engine, front wheel drive. At first I thought it might be a Haflinger, but he needed to dig it out of the blackberry bushes where its been since 1976 to get me some pictures.
So he got me some pics and right away I knew it was a Citroen Mehari. Very rare, only imported two years, 1969-'70 and a limited number.
My old co-worked has one as well.
So heres the rescue of me and my friends, Mehari. With the Mog of corse!

Wow, that's an amazing find. Is it fiberglass body? Sort of looks like a Mini Moke...
Top speed of what? 45 MPH?
The body is made of ABS plastic. Top speed...who knows. Not very fast.

Not particularly fond of the Mehari, but I would love to get my paws on a 2CV, which is the genesis of it. I had an unrestorable Citroen DS19 and I am a glutton for punishment.
There are a few 2CV's on english ebay right now but the top 5 are £10K!!!! how on earth did that happen?
