k03 turbine shaft question
« on: October 08, 2012, 04:51:46 pm »
Hello,

My k03's turbine shaft is worn so I have replaced it with another.  The part just came in from G-Pop shop and it is of a different design.  The turbine is identical, as is the shaft length.    However, the part of the shaft which rides within the journal bearing is recessed in the area below the oil feed hole (of the journal bearing), and the part of the shaft which holds the compressor  is .2 mm larger in diameter and has a different thread at the end for the nut.  The new journal bearing which came has a much larger oil feed hole, and 4  small holes which lie in a milled groove at either end.
What's up!  Thanks, Paolo

Sounds to me you got the wrong shaft.
Did you give them all the serial and model numbers off the turbo?
