Would the boost gauge pressure reading (at my dash) be higher (more accurate) if I used hard plastic line instead of the current soft rubber hose?
The application is a Vanagon and there's probably about 25 feet of hose from the turbo to the gauge.
Seems like all that rubber would lower the pressure - any thoughts?

25psi is 25psi wether its rubber hose, or steel brake lines..
Thanks, I tend to over-think stuff.
Pressure loss in a hose or pipe is due to friction so when there is no flow there is no pressure loss.
If the hose were blowing up like one of those long thin balloons that clowns form into animals and whatnot your boost gauge reaction would be less than accurate however the peak number would still be accurate.
