The story on the hoodpins, before anyone asks:

I drove out to the parts place, a nice Saturday drive. It was me (6ft 3) and my friend (6ft 4) It was a clown car at this point. We get to the parts place, get what I needed and head out.

Merging onto I-75, the hod comes up and folds over the windshield. I idle to the side of the road, looking through the small gap I had. We RIPPED what was left of the hood off, threw it in the hatch. Went BACK to the parts place. The first words from the clerk: "Didn't that have a hood a few minutes ago?"

Thankfully they had a hood, latch and hinges in stock. New everything: and I didnt want it to ever happen again. Thus hoodpin were installed.

I don't recall my front tires hanging out that far.  Maybe because now I am used to the body kit I put on and they are inside more now.
