After dissolving a business, buying a house, remodeling, changing jobs a couple times and other assorted time takers... I'm in the mood for a project again. I'm looking for an excellent bodied car, engine not required but will consider a runner if the price is reasonable. My present favorite would be an audi a4 quattro 1998 up 1.8t, manual, an avant would be ecstacy... I hear the 1.8t's tend to sludge up and blow, one with severe engine issues would be my ideal candidate. V6 or auto models would not be considered but non-quattro non-wagon ok. Top dollar paid, have cash. A clean 2006 jetta TDI manual might also work, BRM's occasionally lose the cam and screw up the head, sell it to me instead of fixing. Again top dollar paid. Corrado's might make neat diesel swaps as well but that might get me beat up...
