engine was rebuilt and installed last year.
ive put about 1300miles on it.
everything is clean and no oil leaks
swapping out the manual rack that i installed during rebuild - my shoulders are getting sore, putting power rack back in.
while under the car i looked up at the turbo and only 1 of the 4 bolts is left holding to the manifold.
i know there were 4 when i put it in.
i know i tightened them real good. but i used a good size goop of never sieze on them to hopefully keep from being rusted solid for future removal.
i can also say, i had rebuilt the k24 a couple of years ago and had it in and out a few times and never seized the bolts every time. they never came out before.
any ideas on how they came out?
jon
they vibrated to the left.
For future reference, High Temp Loctite will have a similar effect as an anti-seize compound after it's been cracked, and will help prevent the bolts from spinning out.
those buggers vibrate out.. i just had an incidence with that.. my turbo was hangin there by the oil line and intake..
as posted high temp loctite is the best choice?
when i bolt this back together i'll clean the threads and apply high temp loctite
thanks for the reply
who knows how long its been held on with just one bolt.
i was pretty shocked when i looked up at the 3 open holes with a sheen of silver anti seize
