This car is advertised locally, I have no association with the seller.

It's in Wiccam NB, just passed springfield. Too far outside my "hassle" zone.

1993 Passat 1.9TD AAZ sedan
needs injection pump

I called the guy yesterday. apparently if it sits for more than an hour it won't start without cracking the injectors or cranking FOREVER. Local VW shop said it's the IP.

Guy says it's in great shape otherwise, has summer & winter tires on separate rims. I'd probably go check it out but it's an hour away and it's WHITE. eghk!

Could be a great parts car or beater... betcha can beat him down to 500.

You spoiled canadians. I drove 1200 miles to get my truck, and you won't drive an hour.

I know how you feel though. I won't drive 20 miles to buy a subaru, cause there's so many of them within biking distance...

I know, I know... If I didn't have so much on the go I'd buy it and just pull the engine,tires & rims.
Maybe the fuses too! Bet it has good fuses!

LOL... true enough. Starting to see some 93-94-95s available as parts cars, and even some OK running cars for under 2K.

Heck, even when I was car shopping 2 years ago, a decent 96 Jetta 1.9 AAZ was $6500. Last week my father in law got an awesome 94 jetta 1.9 for $2900!
