Two broken oil pan bolts--Will it leak??
« on: July 27, 2012, 02:44:10 pm »
I broke two bolts putting on the oil pan. On opposite sides of pan. I already tried a screw extractor and it broke. Anyone running with a bolt or two broken????? :o

esp on the on main seal carrier bolts(nuts in my case). I just run studs on the one inside bell housing... Ive contemplated running studs on all of them when i had an oil leak that could get rid of but just seemed like overkill.
