Speedometer gear affix to cable ideas?
« on: June 22, 2012, 12:51:16 am »
Ive lost the tiny ring that goes on the end of the speedometer cable which in turn holds the nylon gear on the cable. Does anyone have any ideas how i can remedy this?
I'm pretty stumped and finding a replacement ring is proving to be very difficult.

ebay had replacement gears. I bought mine off of the "moogie" guy that Gee-Bee always dealt with. I forget his store name but it had MK1 in the title.

Kevin that would be so amazing if you had one!!! I cant find any in the junk  yards and the only other option ive got at the moment is to buy a new cable. Mine is hardly used!
