AC delete
« on: June 19, 2012, 11:15:13 am »
I have done a search and cant seem to find what I am looking for.

I put a 1.9 AAZ in my mk2 Jetta. Is there a way I can delete the AC compressor and still retain my power steering?
the PS is v belt driven and AC is on the serp belt but does not look like I can run the serp belt without the AC.

Has anyone done this???

thanks in advance ;D

thousands of times.. search some more. its been covered LOTS. and there are PLENTY of DIYs out there..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.
