I've always been a fan of turbo diesels in mk1's, and soon after I learned about the rare mk1 GTD Golf from Europe, I wanted that cool badge for my grille. I searched the web and found some european vendors that sold them, but with international shipping and euro to dollar exchange rates, it was gonna be really expensive to get my hands on one.
I talked to my buddy and he thought that maybe we could make one. We made a template off my friend's gti and then started working on it. Here is where we got:
Then, we decided to go ahead and make a sticker version of it, in red and white.
What do you think? If we could perfect the badge, would any of you be interested in one?
