So what i have for 60 dollars shipped is the compressor wheel and housing from a 300d. the reason you may want it is because it is basically a bolt on turbo upgrade for the vw t3 currently on your car, All you have to do is remove the current vw 35 trim compressor wheel and housing and bolt this one on in its place, very easy and a very good upgrade. If u want to get picky u could send it all our to get balanced... the stock 35 trim compressor is capable of maybe 150hp? at most. the 45 trim is good for over 200hp at the crank. now since you would still be using the vw exhaust side, 200 crank hp may or may not be possible, but the compressor is at least good for that much. this compressor is efficient up to 30psi on a 1.6, and the turbo itself will be spinning much slower at any given boost level or flow rate, so less wear and less back pressure. It should also keep close to stock spool up since you are using the same exhaust side. i was going to use it on my car but i found a slightly better turbo. anyways here are some pictures... i painted the housing, not that it makes it special.

the wheel for sale on the left, and a vw 35 trim on the right... it has since been cleaned up tho
i was hoping this would get sold instantly haha, i just want to see someone use i think its an awesome upgrade... and honestly vw should have used this compressor from stock
here are a few threads about it

someone who actually did this swap:
but keep in mind no grinding is needed to be done like he did, that was only done to fit the mercedes turbine wheel, which i do not recommend at all.
http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?topic=21630.0;here is the stock compressor, u can see its only in the 70% efficiency range up to around 14-15 lbs/min which equates to about 140-150 bhp
and it is only 70% efficient up to 17.6 psi

and the 45 trim which is 70% efficient up to about 22.5lbs min, and it is 70% efficient at over 30psi
you can get .48 housings and wheels out of chry 2.2 T3 turbos
and .60 housings and wheels out of ford 2.3 T3 turbos..
If I had a T3 I would be all over it, but I do not. Sorry sir. Find me a cheap T3 to go with it and I will then buy...consider this calling dibs

Yeah but the people who have used the .48 say it spools too slowly and they both use the same turbine wheel. Cosworth escort guys use the .36 housing to over 215bhp, but that's on a gasser so I don't want to compare too much but I would think that since diesel egts are lower that it could do atleast the same. The ford .60 a/r housing with a 60 trim wheel just won't work too much surging and not enough efficiency at higher boost pressures.
