or at least it kinda looks that way.

is this from getting hot (like i held the GP button too long,) or a dribbling fuel injector anyone?

I am going with dribbling injector.  Seems to focused to be overall overheat trouble.

injectors..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

i would say injectors, but i also had one that would run away on its own oil and after it would run away it would burn up all the glow plugs, but that was usually more violent, like just a little nub was left.

Ether will beat the hell out of the glowplugs just like that. Often it takes the ends right off.

I think it was crazy autolite glow plugs. They are very well known for going to *** on their first use.

But that engine has seen a lot of ether
