Ok, so i have a MSD 8680, adjustable timing computer..

MSD says you HAVE TO use it with their ignition control box..

but, i dont want to use it with an MSD ignition, i want to use it with a stock VW ignition..

does anyone know if it WILL, or WILL NOT work with the stock VW ign system?

or is it just not meant for the full power of the coil to go thru it? and thats why they dont want you using it by its self?

or is it just that MSD tells you to use it with a MSD ignition system, just because then they can sell you an ignition system also?

im about to hook it up to the stock ignition system, just to see if it actually does work.

i know its not really even a performance goody, but i like the ability to be able to advance, or retard the timing while driving the car down the road..
