Are those particularly rare in Oregon?
They are pretty common around here and a lot have ecu issues, you can pick them up cheap.
I wouldn't say so as I have seen a lot of them. But they are a popular car in Portland.
I wonder what this is supposed to mean? ENGINE blown due to waterpump 3 days ago.
Waterpump misfunction? Waterpump without coolant? Just having the waterpump in the engine? Odd.
Guy down the street saw me unloading my stuff on Friday night and came up to ask if I want another VW project car. Apparently his wifes, Cabby is out of commission and he would like it to go to someone that knows how to deal with the car and will appreciate it. Might turn it into the summer car. The 17 year old across the street just had her Honda totalled out by a rear ender at a stop sign a week or so ago. It would make her a nice 2nd car. Better than the Honda, I think.
man if the price was right I would want a cabrio. what year is his?
would like a non running gasser to steel engine parts from and build my diesel to throw in it...
REALLY want another mk1 but would kinda prefer a 2door rabbit or a caddy. selling the golf for $600 soon.
I think it is a 92, Wolfsburg edition.
Those junkers in the valley might be what you end up with. Look as far north as Portland though as there seems to be a crop of them that keeps coming up.
Once I get the WVO setup going I will have time for a second project car. Then I can sell you my 81, Got 5 grand? Cause that is what I think my wife would tell you I have invested in it. What she don't know is that is it really 6. Bwwwhhhhhaaaaa. hahaha.
