FS: Mk2 alternator brackets
« on: April 12, 2012, 08:23:26 am »
Have 4 brackets, just the cast iron part that's held onto the engine by the water pump housing bolts. No adjustment brackets. 25.00 ea. pm if interested please.

Look, if corn and kudzu fall in love and have a baby in a lab under the supervision of scientists working in my employ, WHO AM I TO STOP THAT other than the CEO responsible for stopping it???

You might want to note that the cast-iron bracket is the same for AC or non-ac. So, for those MK1 people out there looking for the elusive non-AC bracket, this might be a quicker and cheaper answer.

also, these are much more rugged than a mk1 as they use a 10mm pivot bolt compared to an 8mm on a mk1. it is possible to ream the mk1 alt pivot hole out and use it with this bracket and the appropriate slide bracket.
