not really thats a good price i remember once i went to the local dealer and they wanted $55 bucks for it..argh i mail order mine i grab a few at atime..i think last time i got soem they were 30 -35 bucks..so if you can get a good german bosch or mann fuel filter for $24 bucks you got a VERY good price.

dude that sucks,,im starting to hate technology,,25$??,,i have an isb cummins driving me nuts at work, and im on a caveman,rocks/sticks rant,if i cant fix it on the side of the road with sticks/rocks,i dont want it,,ever felt like moving to montana, donning a loin cloth, and living off the land??yea maybe a loin cloth is a little much,,25$ i guess it isnt too bad,,,,what about that  cat fuel filter setup? i heard of it,,aint reely seen much  else on it,,i know it "filters" better,,,,but ithinkya gotta get some extra parts for an installation so thats gonna be more than 25$ i bet,,,,,,

CAT installation filter kit is around 100 to purchase. It is nice though...I believe it is the route I'm going to go.

New TDI filters an be had for less than 25 though. I've seen genuine filters on EBAY for 14.50 buy it now

hmmm,,wonder if i candig up a filter at work,,,,hmmm ,,,ikept my old a1 style filter mount,,im gonna  see if i can cross up  a vw/boschfilter to a cat one,,,for reference,  if i remember,i believe a fram ph3522 is the one for a rabbit diesel,,whichif you dosome looking ,this is also the "same " filter for something like a  bread truck with a 4b cummins  in it,kohler gen sets with 4b's also use that filter,,and its for the single filter setup,,some are dualspin ons,, most 4b's witha single filter would probably callfor a fram ph3522,helliknow we have some cat filters in stock too,,just gotta find one with the right threads,,,,ibet they have one,,i wonder if a fleetgard would be ok too,,,,,,,,,the "correct" one for a cummins,,,,
